Greetings to the very few of us who apparently use live journal,
It didn't even occur to me until yesterday that people would have made groups. I suppose I should have continued to read the Cornell Web board past the first few weeks, but you know, life gets distracting.... So as of yet, I've yet to see what is up on the Yahoo board. (Hopefully the moderator gets around to approving me fairly soon :-) )
Anyway, I was wondering how the planning for moving was going for everyone else. I for one will be happy to get going from my normal routine. Working for yourself is nice, but it results in me not really seeing too many people around. I'm moving into Hughes (yes, I look forward to having only a one minute commute to work), although I've heard and read numerous conflicting reports about what they have, when they close (like for summer), and what they let your bring. So far I like the housing website's version the best and the housing contract the least. Probably a lot of things in there just to make sure they can't be blamed for things but eh...
Oh, and Angela, I noticed that you mentioned something about 3 or 4 assignments related to law school, were those assignments for work or Cornell? I haven't gotten anything besides Kafka (which I think is only for orientation anyway) and your mentioning that got me worried. Current Mood: cheerful
Clearly I'm a little TOO excited..
So, I noticed that the schedule is up for the fall courses. I have already printed out copies and highlighted possible schedules according to each section. If I had a scanner, I’d even send it out to the entire Yahoo! Group. Good thing I don’t have a scanner. I don’t want to be that guy…
thanks for setting this up, angela. hopefully we'll get some more members as the year progresses!
I only know of two other people on LJ who are Cornell Law students, and technically, we're all incoming students, and haven't started classes yet. I hope to find other Cornell students from other classes who will join the discussions and perhaps help a few 1Ls who may need a little feedback.
